MEET THE FOUNDER BEHIND THE BRANDS THAT CARES

Lanolab was started in 2014 when my husband was looking for a multi-use balm to assist with chafing, saddle sores, gravel rash and dry lips from harsh weather conditions during multi-day sport events. We could not find anything locally and decided to team up with a pharmacist to formulate the perfect product. I am a mom to two busy teens and a wife to an obsessive triathlete.

I love going for coffee and sitting outside in our garden with our two bulldogs, George and Harry! I have always been obsessed with lip balm and beautiful packaging. Rebranding the packaging design of the balm in 2018 was such a passionate project and it has been exciting watching it grow.

We initially started mixing the formula by hand from our garage, pouring it into tubs and applying the stickers manually and applied stickers. The balm is now blended in an ISO approved laboratory.

Working from home is the perfect solution as it allows me to work flexi hours and still be a part of the daily household responsibilities. I like the flexibility of being able to respond to emails 24/7 and being hands on in all aspects of the business and as a start-up I think it is vital to allow for as much time as you can into growing a business.
